Stove Top Baked Beans
A very easy and tasty way to make baked beans without having to turn the oven on. Simple ingredients, simple instructions. You’ll get compliments!

3-cloves garlic, minced
2-ribs celery, chopped
1/2-green bell pepper, chopped
1-onion, diced
2 strips bacon, thinly sliced, salt pork can be used to replace bacon
1-link smoked Andouille Cajun sausage, or smoked sausage
Lightly brown all above listed ingredients. Drain and to this add:
3-cans pork and beans
1/2 cup-molasses
1/4 cup-catsup
2-large tablespoons of spicy mustard
Simmer all slowly in a cast iron pot or skillet. Let cook slowly until all vegetables are tender and when beans and sauce have thickened somewhat. Delicious served hot or cold! And a very good companion to a bar-b-que meal.

Thanks so much Jane! My text is not coming out right though and I’m sorry for all the disconnected words, I don’t set it up like that and have been having a time getting to know my way around!
Best from me!
