Pepper Beef with Cabbage Fry –Angloindian Style

 

Simple, fast and easy to cook – great taste!

 

Main Ingredients:

 

½ kg –minced beef

5 cloves garlic –chopped finely

½ inch ginger –finely chopped

½ medium size cabbage –shredded

1 tbsp –black pepper ground finely

A dash of cumin seeds

2 tbsp Soya sauce

2 tbsp cooking oil

1 tsp cornstarch

1 large red bell pepper –cut in strips

1 cup of water

Salt to taste

 

Method of preparation:

 

Heat sauce pan on low heat, place your oil and add garlic/ginger and sauté well. Add minced beef and stir fry until brown, add chopped cabbage, black pepper, and cook till vegetable is tender and beef is cooked soft.

Add Soya sauce –mix well –Add cornstarch with water mixed and stir in well over low heat.

Season with red bell pepper and cumin seeds –cook tender until sauce thickens –Serve hot over steamed rice
