Broccoli and Cheese Slow Cooker Soup

This is the best broccoli and cheese slow cooker recipe I have created! Adding to a recent recipe to make it my own, my family loves how easy and put together this dish is.

Broccoli and Cheese Slow Cooker Soup

2 tbsp butter

2 cans Cream of Chicken soup, with added water

1 can Cream of Mushroom soup, with added water

3 cups skim milk

1/4 cup half and half

1 can mushrooms

1 block of Velveeta, cut into 1 inch squares

1 bag of chopped broccoli (or mixed broccoli and cauliflower)

Microwave 1 bag of broccoli for 5-6 minutes. Melt 2 tbsp butter in slow cooker on high. Mix all other ingredients, taking care to stir about every half hour/45 minutes. Do not forget to cut Velveeta into smaller squares so it melts easier. Cook for about 3 hours on high & enjoy!

*(Optional) I always add a bag of wide egg noodles just to add a bit of pasta that my family loves.
