One of the fad diets most famous, the cabbage soup diet is a very low calorie diet low in fat on the basis of (you guessed it) cabbage soup, plus some foods, including vegetables, fruits and carbohydrates and proteins is limited. Normally, it is advised to continue for seven days, then eat normally for 14 days, then back to the diet of cabbage soup for seven days and so on.

Despite assertions to the contrary, does cabbage do not “fat burning” properties.  The reason why cabbage soup diet will cause weight loss because it provides only 800-900 calories per day.

Cabbage Soup – Diet Recipe

The soup itself is typically: 3 onions, 1 head of celery, 1 green pepper, half a cabbage, 2 cans tomatoes, 1 onion soup packet and 3 quarts of vegetable stock.  Herbs and spices are not recommended.  This is sufficient for about 6 servings.
What you eat a diet of cabbage soup

* Day 1
Unlimited cabbage soup, fruit unlimited (most animals, except bananas).
* Day 2
homemade cabbage soup, and other vegetables, including a baked potato with butter for dinner (potatoes are forbidden on other days)
Day 3 *
Unlimited cabbage soup, fruit unlimited (most animals, except bananas).
Day 4 *
cabbage soup house, anything up to 6 bananas and skim milk.
* Day 5
House of cabbage soup, plus 6 tomatoes and up to 450 grams of meat or fish.
* Day 6
House of cabbage soup, and an unlimited number of lean meat or chicken and vegetables.
* 7 days
House of cabbage soup, brown rice, more complete, pure fruit juices and vegetables.

Cabbage soup diet – Benefits

Probably pretty good as a rest for the average short-term supply of junk food.  In addition, homemade soup good food for weight loss – although any vegetable soup will do – and complete reasonable.  need some cooking.
Cabbage soup diet – Verdict

Well, if you want a break of 7 days on junk food, or just have a bit of weight to lose.  But remember that it is nutritionally and should not be followed long term.  In addition, after 7 days of vegetable soup that will never eat another vegetable again!
