Chicken Drum Sticks

I love this recipe, do check :)


  • Chicken leg pieces 6
  • Chinese salt 1 tea spoon
  • Salt 1 tea spoon
  • Vinegar 2-3 table spoon
  • Green chillies 3 (chopped)
  • Onion 1 (chopped)
  • Plain flour one fourth cup
  • Corn flour 2 table spoon
  • eggs 2
  • Soya sauce 1 table spoon
  • Black pepper 2 tea spoon (grounded)


Pierce the leg pieces with a piercing fork. Now add vinegar in it along with the plain flour and green chillies. Mix them thoroughly. Marinate the stuff for two to three hours in the refrigerator. 

After taking it out, add all the other stuff in it, add corn flour as a thickening agent. Aftet that, deep fry the drum sticks for about 15-20 minutes on medium heat. 

( you can coat the drum sticks with bread crums or corn flakes before frying)

    Yummy! What is Chinese salt? Can we use a coarse salt on it instead or is Chinese salt fine grains? Never heard of it before because i have to have my mom make this as the picture looks scrumptious. I almost ate my computer =)

    Chinese salt is also known as ajinomoto.. if that’s not available you can add any chicken powder or syrup or cube. .
