Chinese Cashew Casserole

1 1/2 pounds ground beef

1/2 cup chopped onion

1 8ounce package thin egg noodles

1/2 pound cheese, diced

1/2 cup sliced olives

1 can (10 1/2-ounce) cream of mushroom soup

3/4 cup milk

1 3-ounce can mushrooms with liquid

1 1/22 cups chow mein noodles

1/2 cup cashews

salt and pepper

Brown meat and onions. Cook noodles, drain and place in 9×13inch dish. Mix remaining ingredients except cashews and chow mein noodles. Pour over hamburger and noodle mixture. Bake at 325* for 1 hour. Remove from oven. Top with chow mein noodles and cashews. Bake 15 minutes more. Serves 8.
