Chuckwagon Chili
A favorite recipe of mine for Chuckwagon chili. A different take on Franks and Beans.
CHUCKWAGON CHILI
One package of all beef Hotdogs
One pound of Lean Ground Beef
One can of Beans in Tomato sauce
One can of Pinto Beans
One Large Can diced tomatoes
One small can Tomato paste
¼-1/2 cup chilli powder
½ cup of ketchup
One Sweet Onion
2 Tsp of minced garlic
Tsp of cumin
2 Tbsp of Olive Oil
One bottle of beer
½ cup Red wine
Tsp chilli flakes
Salt and Pepper to taste
To Prepare:
In large pot
Chop onion very fine; add olive oil to skillet and sauté onions
Add ground beef and 1 tsp garlic
Cook beef until done
Add red wine simmer and reduce
Add bottle of beer and canned tomatoes
Add chilli powder, cumin and remainder of garlic
Add ketchup
Add Beans
Add Salt and Pepper and Chilli flakes
Cook Hotdogs and slice in small bit size chunks and add to mixture
Simmer for 2 hours then add Tomato paste and simmer for another hour
Pour into bowls and enjoy

Oh, this sounds like a great recipe! Thank you for sharing it! Hot dogs add an extra pop to many kinds of dishes, and I use them instead of bacon.
