Sure fire guide to cooking fluffy, light rice.

There is a sure fire way to make fluffy, light rice.

Step 1: Rinse rice with water to remove excess starch.

Step 2: Add one and a half cups of water per cup of uncooked rice.

Step 3: Bring to boil, uncovered, on medium heat.

Step 4: As it starts to boil, bring the heat down to medium low.

Step 5: Put the lid on the pot and open the steam vent or tilt it to let steam escape.

Step 6: When craters form in the rice, put the lid on tight and turn the heat to low.

Step 7: Simmer for fifteen minutes.

Stir gently and serve.

    Nice instructions! I just use a rice cooker, haha.
