This makes the perfect pot roast. Turn it on in the morning and forget about it. Dinner is ready when you are.

3-4 lb chuck or bottom round roast

2 cans cream of mushroom soup

1 envelope dry french onion soup mix

6-8 potatoes, peeled and quartered

2 stalks celery, cut into thin strips about 3-4 inches long

1 16oz bag of baby carrots

Put roast into crockpot.  Put vegetables in next surrounding and covering the roast.  Add cream of mushroom soup.  Sprinkle onion soup mix over everything.  Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or until meat and vegetables are tender.

This is so good! The picture above just makes my mouth water. It tastes like the pot roast my mother used to make when I was younger. I like mine with a lot of gravy. Give it a try!
