Tomato and celery juice is refreshing and a time tested winner. Start off with dicing tomatoes, slicing onions and chopping some fresh celery. Cook these with Tabasco sauce for about 30 minutes until they turn liquidy. Blend the soupy mix in a processor after adding salt, freshly ground pepper and a dash of lemon juice. Chill it in the refrigerator before serving.
Tomato soups are also extremely popular. You can easily mix cabbages and carrots with tomatoes while making soups. Just cook the three veggies with salt, pepper, tarragon and olive oil till they turn pulpy. Now blend them in a food processor and then boil the fusion. Add some water if you like watery soups. Your piping hot tomato soup for the chilly winters is ready.
