POTATOES IN THE OVEN.

1 TO 1 1/2 KILO POTATOES, WASHED, PEELED, 1 TSP SALT, /2 TSP PEPPER , 1/2 BOHAR, 1 PAIR OF PIGEONS OR CHICKEN ,4 ONIONS, SLICED,1 KILO TOMATOES 2 TB BUTTER,.              1. SLICE THE POTATOES INTO ROUND DISKS ABOUT 1/2 CM[1/4 I.] THICH. 2.MIX TOGETHER THE SALT, PEPPER AND BOHAR AND TOSS THIS MIXTURE WITH THE POTATOES 3. CUT THE PIGEONS, OR CHICKENS ,INTO PIECES,4 PIECES FOR EACH PIGEO[8 PIECES FOR THE CHICKEN]. WASH THE PIGEONS AND PAT DRY.4. SLICE THE ONION AND TOMATOES 1/2 CM[1/4INCH] THICK 5. IN A BUTTERED DISH, LAYER THE INGREDIENTS IN THE FOLLOWING ORDER; POTATOES, PIGEONS[ CHICKEN] POTATOES ONIONS TOMATOES.6. POUR THE PUREE OR BROTH ON TOP SO THE INGREDIENTS ARE COVERED., THEN SPRINKLE WITH PIECES  OF BUTTER. 7.COOK IN A 180 C[350 F] OVEN FOR 1 1/2 HOUR , OR UNTIL THE POTATOES ARE TENDER
