Fleabeetle Soup

An environmentally friendly spray the targets the fleabeetle.

If you have a problem with flea beetles in your garden the following environmentally friendly recipe will help get rid of them.

Bring a pot of water to a boil on the stove and turn it off. Add the following ingredients to the pot.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup shredded wormwood leaves
  • 2 cloves crushed garlic
  • 1 cup shredded rhubarb leaves
  • ¼ cup freshly ground pepper
  • 1 cup shredded peppermint leaves

Method

Steep the above ingredients in hot water for 1 hour. Strain in to a jar. Gently stir in 1 teaspoon of dish soap. Using a funnel, pour in to a spray bottle. Spray plants and flea beetles at first sign of infestation. Spray again in 3 days. Spray flea beetles as you see them.

Store spray in refrigerator for up to two weeks.
