Garlic Soup
A simple soup that will help you fight colds and the flu.
Preferring the natural way to get well, I came up with this quick, easy to make recipe for a good tasting, simple to make soup which will help you to fight colds and the flu. I run to it whenever I am coughing, wheezing, or feeling cold and flu symptoms, and it has worked for me. My friends have also sampled it, and they are sold on it. The ingredients are:
6 or 7 cloves of fresh garlic
1 medium yellow onion
2 full cups of water
1 can of cream of asparagus or cream of chicken soup
Directions: Dice fresh garlic cloves and onion first. Boil in the 2 full cups of water for 5 minutes. Take off of burner and allow to stand for 2-3 minutes. Add the cream of asparagus or cream of chicken soup to the soup and stir. The soup is ready. This soup is so delicious that you will consume it in just a few moments. If you like a soup with more water, you may use 3 cups of water instead of 2. Either way, you will find yourself feeling so much in just a little while.
