Gourd Soup

Recipe for gourd soup.

Ingredients:

  • 500g of gourd flesh with seeds
  • 150g of carrots, parsley and celery
  • 1 onion
  • Small paprika
  • Celery and parsleys top
  • Salt
  • 4 pieces of pepper
  • ½ of tea spoon of caraway-seeds
  • ½ of tea spoon of red pepper
  • 1 spoon of butter

Method:

  1. Use fine grater to grate small carrot
  2. Roast it on butter
  3. Add chopped celery and parsley’s top
  4. Seal it with 2l of water and let it boil
  5. Add gourd flesh with seeds, chopped carrot, parsley, paprika and pepper
  6. Cook it until the vegetables are soft
  7. Strain the soup, salt it and add fresh chopped parsleys top.
  8. Add some pasta or noodles into every portion
  9. Enjoy this tasty soup
