Green Bean Casserole

2 cans green beans, drained

1 can bean sprouts, drained

1 can water chestnuts, sliced

1 can mushrooms

1 can cream of mushroom soup

1 onion

1 can fresh fried onion rings

4 ounces grated american cheese

Mix together and put half of mixture in a large casserole. Sprinkle 2-ounces grated cheese over first layer. Add second half of bean mixture and top with 2-ounces of grated cheese. Bake 30 minutes at 350 *. The last 2 or 3 minutes before serving, sprinkle onion rings on top. (This recipe can be stretched by adding another can of beans.) Serves 10 to 12.
