Boiling water is ALWAYS the same temperature, regardless of the heat source. Boiling water is boiling water (212F or 100C). It might boil faster but the temperature and cooking speed is the same no matter how hot the flame is. Boiling water will vary by ALTITUDE (Denver’s boiling water is not as hot as NYC boiling water). Science!
