How to Make Cream of Potato Soup

This is an easy six step guide into making cream of potato soup!

Ingredients

500mL Chicken Broth

3 Medium sized potatoes, peeled and diced.

1mL Salt

45mL Butter

250mL Diced Onion

30mL Flour

175mL Milk

Bacon bits, to garnish

Pepper, to taste

Step-By-Step Instructions

1. Peel and dice potatoes. Add potatoes and salt to the chicken broth, bring it to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes or until potatoes are tender.

2. Melt butter and fry onions until soft. Stir in flour and cook for 1minute.

3. Add milk and pepper to the onions and cook until thickend.

4. Add potatoes and broth to onnion mixture.

5. Process in blender or mash with potatoe masher.

6. garnish with bacon bits and serve with toast.
