Magazine Recipes Part Two-the Easiest Sausage Vegetable Soup You Will Ever Make
Here is another recipe from Woman’s World 10/15/12. It is delectable.
Sausage vegetable soup
4 ounce wagon wheel pasta
4 links {10 ounces} Italian sausage
3 cups chopped onion and zucchini and mushroom slices
2 cans (14.5 ounce each) diced tomatoes with fennel and red pepper
2 cans (14.5 ounces each) lower sodium chicken broth
1 can 15 ounces red beans, rinsed drained
Cook pasta according to directions; drain and reserve. Meanwhile, heat large pot over medium heat. Add sausage; cook, turning, 5-10 minutes Remove from pot reserve. Add vegetables to pot, stirring until softened, about 5 minutes. Add tomatoes with their juices, broth and beans; bring to boil. Cover. Over low heat, simmer until heated through, 5 minutes. Slice sausages add to pot. Cook until heated through, 3 minutes Stir in pasta , if desired serve with shredded Parmesan cheese.
