Mexitalian Hamburger Soup

Mexican and Italian seasonings combine to make this delicious unique hamburger soup.

1 lb ground beef

1 teaspoon Mrs. Dash Southwest Chipotle Seasoning Blend

6 cups beef broth

1 26oz jar of garden vegetable pasta sauce

1 15 oz can of corn, drained

1 15 oz can of black beans, drained

1 8 oz box of macaroni

 

Brown ground beef in a large soup pot or dutch oven.  Sprinkle ground beef with Mrs. Dash.  Stir to mix evenly.  Add beef broth to seasoned meat.  Then, add pasta sauce.  Stir.  Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.  Add corn, black beans, and macaroni.  Stir.  Cover and simmer for an additional 30 minutes.  Stir occasionally to be sure ingredients do not stick.
