Miso and Tofu Soup(japanese)
This is a japanese meal thats very popular and served with most rice meals, delicious nutritional and great for all
enjoy.
Ingredients
1/2 packet of drained silken tofu about 150grams, cut in to 1cm cubes
800ml Kombu seaweed and bonito flake stock
6grams dried wakame seaweed
60ml miso
3 spring onions chopped finely
1 red chilly chopped finely
Bring the stock to the boil and then reduce heat, add the wakame seaweed and simmer for around 2 minutes with the lid on. pour some of the liquid into a bowl and mix in the miso until disolved and return back to the pan. Add the tofu cubes and return back to the stove for a further 2 minutes until heated through. serve up and sprinkle a little chilly and spring onion to taste, easy! simple, and great value!
