Mushroom Soup
“Have you tried to make mushroom soup”? Soups are one way for people to relax and refresh. I can prepare the soup for five or six people.
Ingredients
· Pinch of nutmeg powder
· Salt
· ¾ table spoon of white pepper powder
· 350 ml of milk
· 2- 3 medium size onions and bay leaves
· 5 cloves
· 6- 7 peppercorns
· Fresh cream of 1 cup
· 2-3 tablespoons of butter
· 250grams of fresh mushrooms
Instructions
· Clean and wash the mushrooms
· Cut the mushrooms into 4 or 5 pieces
· Chop off the remaining mushrooms and onions also
Mixture
· Make use of the following along with milk and boil
o Cloves
o Peppercorns
o Bay leaves
· Take a pan and melt the butter
Addition of Ingredients
· Add onions and mushrooms, the chopped ones and cook until they become soft
· Add flour and sauté and take care so that the flour does not get burnt
· Avoid lumps by stirring very often even while pouring milk
· Cooking time is for 5 minutes
· Make the mixture cold and puree it
Soup is ready
For texture, you must boil and add correct amount o cream along with nutmeg, pepper, salt and garnish. Add more milk for consistency. Dish is ready to be served with mushroom slices and cream.
