Onion Soup Expresso

One of my favorite dish. Very easy to prepare.

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoon of cooking oil
  • 1 cup of finely chopped onions
  • 2 cups of chicken stock
  • 1 cup of cream
  • 1/2 cup of grated cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup of finely cubed carrots
  • 1 teaspoon of cornstarch dissolved in 3 tablespoons of water
  • salt and white pepper to taste

Method

  1. Saute onions. Add chicken stock and carrots. Simmer for 3 minutes.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients and serve.
