Raw Onions plus tomatoes are a good combination, try them daily. It cleanses the body from within. Onions have proven to lower high cholesterol levels, high blood pressure, prevents atherosclerosis, diabetic heart disease, reduces the risk of heart attack or stroke and reduces the risk of developing colon cancer. These are proven points for everyone’s happy health.


Onions are rich in healthy sulfur compounds, it is a healthy ingredient used in various dishes for thousands of years by people all around the world. Onions contain photochemical, vitamin C and Chromium a mineral that helps cells respond to insulin and improves the integrity of blood vessels and decreases inflammation.

First Negative Points: consuming large quantities of onions can lead to gastrointestinal irritation that may result in nausea and diarrhea. Consume half onion a day is healthy.

Second Negative Point:  Affects the breath and brings tears to your eye. If cutting onions irritates your eyes, chill the onions for an hour or so before cutting will slow the activity of the enzyme that produces the alkaline sulfate

Early settlers used wild onions to treat colds, coughs, and asthma, and to repel insects. In Chinese medicine, onions are used to treat angina, coughs, bacterial infections, and breathing problems. Substances in onions provide protection against cardiovascular disease.  Onion extracts rich in a variety of sulfides; provides protection against tumor growth. Onions that are well shaped, no opening at the neck with crisp feature and dry outer skins are good, avoid those that are sprouting. Diets like onions, tea, apples and broccoli the richest sources – they have a 20% reduction for most diseases. Onions are commonly used to flavor dips, salads, soups, spreads, stir-fry and other dishes

Fast Simple Recipe  Sautéed Vegetables or Noodle Soup

Ingredients

  • 3 Onions Sliced
  • 1 Whole Tomato Sliced
  • 1 Whole Red Bell Pepper Diced ( Bell Peppers are protective against cataracts, prevent blood clot formation and reduce the
    risk of heart attacks and strokes,  it contains vitamin C)
     
  • 2 Garlic Cloves (Grind) (Garlic improves immune function, giving our natural defense system a boost, and helping it conserve our levels of antioxidants in our system)
     ½ Cut Ginger Root (Grind)
  • (Ginger improves and stimulates circulation and relaxes the muscles surrounding blood vessels)
  • 4 Cooked ready to eat shrimps or ready to eat grilled chicken

Method

Sauté onions, garlic, ginger and bell pepper in ½ tea spoon of olive oil. Sauté these items till golden brown, add a pinch of sea salt for taste. Put it in an air tight container and leave it in your fridge for daily use in various meats or vegetables.

Buy some frozen packets vegetables, ready to eat cooked grilled chicken or shrimps. Every time you feel like eating vegetable just take half a pack of vegetables, place it over low fire for 5 minutes,  simply add 2 spoons of the sautéed onions, grilled chicken or shrimp and cook for about 5 minutes – you will have a healthy delicious meal.

For Soups:  fill ¼  sauce pan  with water, add spinach or any favored veggie plus grilled chicken or cooked shrimp bring it to  boil for 3 minutes. Add one spoon of sautéed onions and packet of instant noodles with the soup base; boil it for another 3 minutes. In just under 10 minutes you have a delicious noodle soup, a simple healthy meal.
