Orzo Pilaf Rice Recipe

The fabulous taste of this orzo pilaf rice recipe is the perfect combination of tastes and flavors. Orzo pilaf is a really healthy dish, that could not get any simpler to make. From the preparation to the cooking, it should only take about half a hour to complete.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup onions (chopped)
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups orzo
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons of capers
- 2 tablespoons of parsley (chopped)
Preparation
Start by heating the olive oil in a medium-sized saucepan, over medium heat. Next add the onions and cook for no more than five minutes, stirring occasionally. Then add the chicken broth, orzo, salt and pepper, stir in and combine.
Bring the mixture to a boil, over medium heat and cover. Reduced the heat to low and cook for about ten minutes or until most of the liquid has absorbed into the orzo and it is tender. Halfway through the cooking process, mix in the capers and the parsley and then it’s all ready to serve.
