Potato Casserole

Need a casserole for Thanksgiving or Christmas? Try Potato Casserole. Potato Casserole has cornflakes, hash browns, sour cream, cheddar cheese and onions. Potato Casserole is a perfect holiday side dish.

Ingredients:

1 – 32 ounce bag of hash browns

½ cup margarine

1 can of cream of mushroom soup

¾ cup of sour cream

½ cup of milk

¼ cup of chopped green onions

2 cups of grated cheddar cheese

1 cup of crushed cornflakes

2 tablespoons margarine melted

Description or method:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt margarine and pour into 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Then add ½ packages of hash browns. In a separate bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, milk, green onions and pour ½ of this mixture over the hash browns. Sprinkle 1 cup of grated cheese on top. Add remainder of hash browns; pour remainder of soup mixture on top. Sprinkle remainder of cheese on top, and then cover with crushed corn flakes. Pour 2 tablespoons of melted butter or margarine over the mixture.

Bake for 45 minutes. This makes 12 servings.
