Recipe Beef Stew
This a s simple recipe on how to make a delicious beef stew.
This beef stew recipe will become a delight for you and your guests once you get down to savor the tasty beef stew accompanied by steamed rice or mashed Irish potatoes and a vegetable salad on the side to complete this delicious meal. This recipe will make anyone who is a bit reserved about eating beef like it.This dish can be served on any occasion, though it is great when hosting guest and your family treat too.
Ingredients
1 kg Beef fresh preferably
2 Large Onions
1 Large Carrot
1/2 Cup of green peas
1 cup tomatoes diced
1 clove garlic
Salt for seasoning
Olive Oil or sunflower oil
2 Beef Cubes
Soy sauce
1 sprig of fresh parsley
Directions for preparation
Wash the beef with water and on a chopping board slice the beef in medium-sized cubes and boil in little water for 10 minutes to soften the beef.
Chop the onions into small pieces, crush the garlic.
Heat oil in a sauce pan; add the onions, fry them till golden brown, add the garlic and fry it for 3 minutes.
Add tomatoes into the onion mixture, fry it till the oil separates and then add the beef cubes and fry the mixture for another 3 minutes then add the beef and add 2 teaspoons of the soy sauce into the mixture. Season with salt, add a little water enough for making soup, and add the peas into the the mixture and boil for 20 minutes on low heat.
Stir occasionally as the stew simmers slowly and boil till the stew is tender and the peas are ready. Add more water for stew if necessary.
When ready chop the fresh parsley and sprinkle it over the stew and serve with steamed rice or mashed Irish potatoes and fresh garden salad
This is a serving for 6 and is a healthy meal for everyone.
