3 whole chicken breasts, split
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 medium onion, sliced
1 bay leaf
1 can (10 1/2 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup soure cream
2 teaspoons paprika
Salt and pepper chicken breasts; dust lightly with flour. Brown lightly in butter in 10 1/2 inch skillet. Add onion and bay leaf. Combine soup and remaining ingredients; pour over chicken. Cover; bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour.
Sprinkle chicken pieces with additional paprika and return to oven, uncovered, for 10 minutes. Chicken may be cooked by simmering on top of the range for 45 minutes. Serves 6.
