Super Supreme Nachos

A home-cooked Tex-Mex beef nacho recipe to spunk up the taste buds and keep them coming back for more.

Since the early 1990’s, International Day of the Nacho is an annual day that’s celebrated on October 21, chiefly by eating nachos :)

Ingredients:

1 package Ground Beef or Ground Turkey (lean or premium is best)
1 bottle Picante Sauce (Lime & Garlic) (or less if preferred
1 package Taco Seasoning (or more if you prefer)
1/4 Cup Water
1/2 Lemon squeezed & strained
1/2 Lime squeezed & strained
1 medium package Velvetta Cheese
1 small package Shredded Cheese
Chopped Lettuce
Diced Tomatoes
Sour Cream (optional)
Lime & Garlic Chips (or regular flavor)

Preparation:

Brown beef or turkey & drain. Add taco seasoning, water & Picante Sauce with 2 pats of butter. Squeeze lemon & lime juice in separate bowl or juicer & strain pulp. Mix with meat mixture. Simmer 5 to 7 minutes. Melt Velvetta using package instructions. Spoon meat mixture onto chips. Then layer with velveeta, lettuce, tomatoes, shredded cheese & sour cream. Enjoy!
