Thai Style Quail Eggs : Asian Recipe
Thai Style Quail Eggs are prepared to give a rich Thai flavor.
A quick and easy recipe that you won’t want to miss if you love Thai food.
I named this dish Thai Style Quail Eggs because I used some common Thai ingredients.
Quail Eggs are highly nutritious and can be eaten raw or just boiled.
I gave this dish a Thai Flavor as I love Thai food.
Nutritional Values :5 times more iron and potassium than chicken eggs, twice as much as Vitamin A and B2 than Chicken Eggs, Rich in Phosphorus and Iron. No Bad Cholesterol but very high in Good Cholesterol
Health benefits: Anti cancer effects and inhibits cancerous growth, straightens immune system by stunning aging in organs, helps to prevent anemia by promoting good memory, is a remedy to gastritis and stomach ulcers.

Ingredients
12 quail eggs (hard boiled and peeled)
1 cup of small cooked shrimps (optional)
1/2 big onions ( sliced finely)
2 tbsp chilli paste
1 stalk lemon grass
3 lime leaves
1 thump sizes galanga (lungkus)(slices and crushed)
1 tsp shrimp paste
2 tbsp of soy sauce
1 tsp of salt
2 tbsp oil

Method
- Heat oil and fry onions until brown
- Add galanga, lemon grass and lime leaves and fry for another 2 mins
- Add shrimp paste and soy sauce and fry for 1 min
- Add chilli paste, cooked shrimps and fry on low heat for at least 10 min or until the mixture turns into a darker red colour and oil rises to the top.
- Add salt as required and stir
- Finally add boiled quail eggs and stir.
- Remove from wok and serve hot
- Thai Style Quail Eggs can be served with steam rice, porridge, dosas , roti jala and bread.
