Veggie Bean Soup

I tried out my latest soup at church pot luck and it was a hit. It’s healthy and yummy vegetarian bean soup. And nothing could be easier to make. I doubled this recipe for the pot luck. Beans are great fiber and also have protein in them. It’s true if vegetarians eat whole plant based foods instead of processed foods there is plenty of protein. It’s a proven scientific fact that people who eat meat actually have too much protein in their system which causes lots of health problems.
God created us to eat whole plant based foods and not meat, so what could be better than following the creators plans for a healthy body?
Ingredients:
1 can black beans
1 can great Northern beans
1 can pinto beans
¼ cup diced or match stick carrots
1 celery stick
¼ cup chopped onion
1 cup vegetable broth
1 pkg of taco seasoning
Directions:
Put everything in a crock-pot for a couple hours. Serve with rice, crackers or cornbread. If you want to make it a little spicy try canned beans with jalapenos in it or add your own jalapenos.
