Veggy Semolina Pan Cake

Its healthy and filling…

Ingredients

  • Semolina- 2 cup
  • Onion – 1 finely chopped
  • Chopped corriander – 1 tbs
  • Green chilli(optional)- 1 ( chopped)
  • Tomato- Cored and chopped  1tbs
  • Salt- as per taste
  • Oil- 1 tbs
  • water – 1 1/2 cup

Method

  • Take 2 cups of a semolina in a bowl.
  • Add 1 cup of water & soak it for 20-30 mins.
  • Add more water to make a batter of pan cake consistancy.
  • Add chopped onion, green chili, tomato and salt and mix it properly.
  • Heat a non stick skillet.
  • Rub little oil in the surface of the skillet with cotton or a cleancloth.
  • Pour the batter .
  • Reduce the gas.
  • Add little oil in the sides.
  • When one side gets cooked , turn the other side.
  • Serve hot  with plain yogurt or potato raita( Posted earlier)
