A great dessert for Christmas or New Years.
Christmas holidays means all the delicious buttery vegetables that we love so much. It also means rich desserts, cheese balls, dips and chips. Come January we are ready to jump on the bandwagon and take off those extra pounds that we enjoyed putting on during the holidays. The trouble is, we still don’t want to pass up those lovely desserts. Well, we can have our cake and eat it too. Dump those rich casseroles, instead steam your healthy vegetables and add just a bit of olive oil and herbs. As for those delicious desserts, you can make them in lighter versions that taste just as good as the calorie laden desserts and have less that have half the calories. I promise. The following recipes will prove it.
