They say a change is as good as a holiday and Eggs Florentine certainly makes a welcome change from standard scrambled or poached eggs for breakfast. I suppose you could say a breakfast holiday.

French Onion Soup

French onion soup is simple and easy to make and can include ingredients that are cheap and may also be the recycled bi-products of other culinary adventures. Still there is nothing like a cup of piping hot soup on a cold day to get those juices flowing.
