One of my family’s favorite dishes to have is chicken teriyaki with red peppers and roasted garlic. It is full of sweet spicy flavor that is sure to please all taste buds. You can even serve this dish over white or brown recipe for a more filling meal. Heck, you can even have fried rice if you would like.

Quick and healthy semi-homemade meals give you more time to spend enjoying life. Substitute extra-firm tofu chunks for the chicken and it becomes a vegan treat. Use fresh, local, organically-grown vegetables. This dish travels well if you want to take it to a potluck.

Oven roasted chicken is everyone’s favorite home cooked meal, or maybe just mine. Anyways, it makes a great home cooked meal to go along with a side of mashed potatoes and gravy along side of some vegetables.

While chicken is a healthy meat, most chicken casserole recipes feature too much salt, add carbohydrates without any increase in vitamin and mineral content, and result in a dish that does the body more harm than good. This dish is high in vitamins C and A, manganese and potassium.

KOTÓPOULO ME SÝKA (Greek spelling)
(Chicken with Figs in Red Wine)
(In the book quotes as follows: This dish has been served on hot nights in the garden with the moon filtering through the almond trees. It goes quite well with ghost stories).
