On my trawl through the archives I came across this vegetarian recipe which should appeal to vegetarians and meat lovers alike. The main ingredient, vegetable suet, may not be readily available in the US but, at the bottom of the recipe I have found a couple of websites where you can order British food online, so if you don’t like the recipe, you may find some other things on there to tickle your taste buds!

All kids and most adults love this hardy salad. It’s filling and tastes delicious. You can double the recipe if you have a crowd or if you only want a few portion more, add a little more of each ingredient. It’s easy and you can make it in a jiffy. If the kids can’t wait for it to chill an hour, that’s okay, let them eat it, it will still be good.

Try this when a tasty and filling meal is wanted, but budgets call for very little spending.

Is there anyone who doesn’t like Cinnamon Rolls? So juicy and yummy. This is an easy recipe (well maybe not that easy and it does take up some of your time) But these homemade cinnamon rolls are so much better than store bought, they are well worth the trouble. Try them and see if it isn’t so.

I’ve been diving under hedges, trudging through English water meadows, and trampling through leafy glades to find these two quick, easy, cheap and filling versions of plain, common all garden mushrooms on toast! Another one perhaps for all you youngsters out there who are hoping to go off to Uni in September!?
