Halo-halo is a Filipino snack composed of different sweetened foods mixed together with crushed or shaved ice and milk which is usually served in a tall glass or plastic cup. This dessert is popular anywhere you go in the country. The cold taste makes it the favorite of many during summer season. Halo-halo comes in two categories. One is the ordinary mixture of fruits and the other is a mixture of cooked sweetened ingredients usually found in bigger restaurants and food chains. Here are some of the common ingredients:
