Okay, this is a mystery recipe and it is made with soda-pop. I don’t remember where I got the recipe but I do remember someone brought it to our family reunion several years ago and I don’t think there was a crumb left of it. I’ve made it several times since then and sometimes eat it plain with a cup of tea or glass of lemonade for a snack but I have also cut it into squares and topped it with whipped cream garnished with chopped nuts for a delightfully delicious dessert. Have you ever made a sandwich from chickpeas? I do and quite often, especially in the summertime when all I really want is a sandwich and a drink on those hot summer days but I want it to be healthy too.
