The times when all butters were made from cream and didn’t last more than a few days are long gone. Most of today’s butters available in stores have shelf life of at least four weeks, often even several months. It seems that the taste went to hell regarding most of the commonly available and affordable brands. Does such butter deserve its name or should it be called margarine? It sure tastes the part.
