Sweet breads are wonderful and delicious and are great for breakfast or brunch or to go with afternoon tea. Serve them plain, with butter, cream cheese or your favorite topping. My friend Roz and I often share recipes and menus, especially around the holidays. Though her grandmother is Jewish, Roz was not raised in an entirely Jewish household but she still got to celebrate all the special holidays her grandmother did as well as those from her father’s side of the family. Roz still does but now more in her own way. She like to use her grandmother’s recipes for holiday fare just about anytime and she sometimes shares them with me. This cake recipe is one of her favorites and has become one of mine too.
