I was recently watching a cookery programme on TV here in England and a young, aspiring chef who was part Middle Eastern made a Baba Ganoush. Being from a long line of Brits and having little knowledge of Middle Eastern recipes, I thought I’d look into it and see if it could be something I could make easily myself at home and whether I could find the spices I needed to make the dish relatively authentic.
