BBQ Chicken Cheese Steak
This Cheese Steak is sweet with a mild melty cheese on top.
For those that love the philly cheesesteak and want to slightly healthen it up. I don’t think this is your cheese steak. It’s covered in delicious Colby Jack Cheese and Jack Daniel’s Barbeque Sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 mostly thawed Chicken Breast (sliced thin)
- 1/3 cup Jack Daniel’s Original BBQ Sauce
- 2 Tsp Paprika
- 1 Clove Garlic minced
- 1/4 Onion Minced
- 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
- Salt & Pepper
- 1 Amoroso Roll (or Hoagie Roll)
- 2-3 Slices of Colby or Monterey Jack Cheese
Recipe
- Pull out your mostly Thawed Chicken Breast from the fridge
- Slice it into really thin slices
- Hit it with the salt and pepper
- In a medium sized pan over medium high heat add the olive oil
- When the oil just begins to smoke add your onions then your garlic
- Stir til all is coated in oil
- Sprinkle with a little salt
- After about 3-5 minutes add in the Chicken slices
- Cook until opaque and add the paprika
- Add the BBq Sauce and bring it to a boil
- Scoop the mixture onto your Hoagie Roll
- Top it with cheese and either broil or toast it until the cheese is evenly melty
- Enjoy!

Great Recipe turned out delicious! I would recommend using Picky Vicki BBQ Sauce in this Recipe. I used Nice n’ Sweet Mild from http://www.pickyvicki.com/.
