Best Crock Pot Macaroni & Cheese Recipe

What better comfort food than the all time favorite Macaroni and Cheese. Try this creamy three cheese recipe in your crock pot for extra goodness.

This recipe makes a total of 8 servings. It takes about 15 minutes to prep and 4 hours to cook in the crock pot or slow cooker.

You will need the following ingredients for this fantastic dish: 10 ounces or 2 1/4 cups of dry elbow macaroni, 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, 1 cup of shredded Gruyere cheese, 8 ounces of American cheese ( thinly sliced and roughly chopped ), 1 1/2 cups of whole milk, 1 can or 12 ounces of evaporated milk, 1 1/2 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce, 3/4 teaspoons of dry mustard, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, 1/4 teaspoon of black or cracked pepper, 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter and a 1/2 cup of Panko bread crumbs.

Directions:

Coat the inside of slow cooker bowl with nonstick cooking spray.

Combine the macaroni, cheddar, Gruyere and American cheese, milk and the evaporated milk in the slow cooker bowl. Cook on low setting for 4 hours.

Thirty minutes before it is finished, stir in the Worcestershire sauce, salt, mustard and pepper.

Melt the unsalted butter in a small skillet on medium heat. Stir in the Panko bread crumbs and cook. Be sure to stir this often for a total of two minutes or until it is toasted and golden in color. Then sprinkle it over the Macaroni and Cheese and serve it right away.

There are 452 calories per serving and 25g. of fat, 24g. of protein, 35g. of carbohydrate, 1g. fiber, 646mg. of sodium and 71mg. of cholesterol.

    Sounds and looks good!! I am a great fan of macaroni and cheese, but have never tried it this way! Try adding some herbs, adds to the flavour!
