Egg Scramble That Kids Love a Lot

published by Mythili Kannan on Sep 29, 2009

Simple and tasty.

In the beginning I used to give boiled egg or egg, just toasted in a pan with salt added, to my son. But he started disliking the same taste. So, I just modified it a little and he loves that. Here is my modified version.

Ingredients

  • Egg – 2
  • Shallot (also called as small onion) – 3
  • Peas (mutter) – 10 to 15
  • Shredded cheese – little
  • Pepper and Salt – little
  • Butter – little

Method

  1. Heat a pan and add butter.
  2. Fry the shallot (cut into very small pieces).
  3. Add peas and fry for few minutes. I use frozen peas, and hence cooking for a few seconds is enough. If you are using other types, make sure it gets cooked properly (else cook separately and add).
  4. Add cheese and let it melt.
  5. Break the egg shells and add the contents to this.
  6. Add salt and pepper and scramble well
  7. Serve Hot
