Orange Creamsicle Pie

Tastes like the creamsicle you loved as a child. Try this quick easy treat for your Easter dessert.

Ingredients

  • 1 graham cracker pie shell
  • 2 c. pulpless orange juice
  • 1/3 c. cane sugar
  • 1/4 c. cornstarch
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 8oz container Cool Whip (thawed)

Method

Mix beaten egg, sugar, cornstarch and orange juice in saucepan.  Simmer for 1 minute over medium high heat, stirring constantly. Cover with plastic wrap and chill 15 minutes.  Fold in half of the Cool Whip and spoon into graham cracker crust. Chill.  Garnish with remaining Cool Whip.

    My nieces and nephews would love this (and me too). It also seems easy enough to make that they could probably have fun helping.
