Peanut Butter Easter Eggs

published by PR Mace on Mar 11, 2009

A fun treat to make for Easter.

Recently while updating my recipes, I found an old Easter favorite, Peanut Butter Easter Eggs. They are easy to make and sell very well at bake sales. Just wanted to share and hope you enjoy them.

Ingredients

1 large pack of dipping chocolate

2 cups of peanut butter, creamy

1 pound of butter or margarine

2 teaspoons of vanilla

2 1/2 pounds of confection sugar

Method

Mix peanut butter, butter/margarine and vanilla. Add sugar and knead until it reaches desired consistency for shaping. Shape into eggs, can be small , large or extra large sizes, and chill. Once chilled not frozen dip into chocolate dipping sauce and place on waxed paper. Now decorate as desired. Yield depends on size of the eggs.

Wishing you all a Happy Easter and hope you enjoy the eggs.
