A “Berry, Berry” Delicious Smoothie
This is a perfect, healthy refreshing smoothie which can be used in between meals as a snack or as a dessert or even as your breakfast.
“Berry, Berry” Smoothie
2 Cups fresh or frozen mixed berries (strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, cherries, or blueberries)
1 Cup Strawberry Yogurt*
1 Banana – very firm and sliced
1 Cup Milk
Combine the mixed berries, yogurt, banana and milk in a blender. Cover and blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and enjoy!
*Vanilla Yogurt can be substituted for Strawberry
**For a sweeter flavor add approximately 1 tablespoon of strawberry, blackberry or raspberry preserves

I love smoothies! And berries are loaded with anti oxidants. They also say, and I don’t know if it is true, that any red fruit or vegetable is good for your heart. One interesting thing I heard is if the bananas are frozen when you put them in your blender they chill the smoothie without ice and that way the smoothie doesn’t get all watery.

I certainly would not mind having this berry smoothie in front of me right now. Although, my coffe is delicious too, lol.
