Chicken Tikka: Mouthwatering Indian Appetizer..

A tried and tasted delicious chicken recipe… an all-time hit from Indian cuisine….

Let me share with you the secret of the Chicken Tikka delicacy….

Ingredients

  • 450 gms boneless chicken, cut into small cubes
  • 2 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 2 tsp Ground coriander
  • 2 tsp Curry Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Paprika
  • 2 cups plain Yoghurt
  • 4 Garlic Cloves (finely chopped)
  • 1 inch Fresh Ginger (chopped)
  • 2 tsp Ground cumin
  • 3 tbsp Butter

Method

  1. First mix all ingredients except chicken cubes together in a bowl
  2. Refrigerate the mixture overnight
  3. Add chicken cubes and marinate it in the above-mentioned bowl
  4. Cover and again refrigerate for at least 4 hours
  5. Now preheat the oven to 350 degree F
  6. Bring the marinated chicken cubes to room temperature and skewer on bamboo skewers, which should be soaked in water before for 30 minutes
  7. Place the skewers with chicken on baking tray and bake in over for 20 to 35 minutes
  8. 3 tbsp of butter can be drizzled over for the last 5 minutes of cooking
  9. Your delicious hot Chicken Tikka is ready to serve!
