Gena’s Healthy Lemon Garlic Chicken
Method:
1) Set the oven to 180c
2) Toss chicken pieces in flour and parika (or ginger) so all the chicken is coated evenly with the flour mix
3) Place the pieces of chicken in to the dish, place the skin side down, in a single layer in the casserole dish to get an evenly cooked chicken
4) Then melt the butter and add the oil, then spoon it over the chicken evenly so it doesnt stick
5) Then Cover the dish with foil and then bake at 180c for about 30 mins
6) While the chicken is cooking Make the lemon garlic Sauce: So combine all the sauce ingredients and mix well in a separete bowl.
Oven temp: 180 c
Cooking time: 1 hour and 15 mins
Utensils: A greased casserole dish (a shallow one)
Ingredients:
4 pieces of chicken (use whatever chicken preference you like, I prefer chicken breasts as they are low in fat)
2 tablesspoons of flour
2 teaspoons of paprika or ginger (whatever preference)
1 tablesppon of butter
1 tablespoon oil
The Lemon Garlic Sauce:
2 teaspoons of soy sauce
3 to 4 shakes of pepper
2 teasppons of grated lemon rind
1/3 cup of Lemon juice
1 to 2 cloves of garlic crushed
Method:

7) Turn the chicken, spoon the sauce over the chicken and return it back to the oven and bake
for a further 30 mins or so untill it becomes nice and tender, basting occasionally.
8) Take out and serve with vegetablees or with salads.
