Protein Pizza Dough Recipe

Protein pizza dough.
This recipe makes about 4 pizzas each with 20grams of protein
Ingredients
| 2 | tbs yeast, active dry |
| 1 1/4 | cups water, warm |
| 1/2 | tsp honey |
| 1 | tsp salt |
| 2 1/2 | cups flour, whole wheat |
| 1 | cup soy flour, low fat |
Method
- Stir the yeast and honey into the warm water and let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
- set aside 1/2 cup of wheat flour for rolling out the crust
- Combine the rest of the wheat flour, salt and soy flour and add slowly to the water until a soft dough forms
- batter for 10 minutes until smooth and elastic, dusting the board and your hands with flour as needed
- Form into a ball and place in an oiled bowl
- Cover with a clean towel and set in a warm place to rise until doubled in bulk
- Punch down and divide into 4 parts
- Press and roll out each part into a thin 10″ circle
- If you want your pizza thicker, allow it to rise once again after rolling it.
- Top with whatever you like. I highly suggest spinach for I love it so much but it is up to you
.
- Bake for 10 minutes in preheated 500 degree oven!
