Grilled Corn on The Cob

published by MrsWong on Jul 8, 2010

This is an easy recipe for a summer favorite of mine. Tis the season to barbecue!

Ingredients

6 pieces of corn on the cob, with silk and husks intact

sink full or bucket full of water

foil

butter and salt

Begin by gently peeling back the husk of your corn and removing the corn silk. Make sure that most of the husk stays on the cob. Once this task is finished toss your corn in your water and let it sit for roughly 10-15min, while this is happening you can preheat your grill. After the corn has sat long enough take them and tip them so that most of the water drains off and then wrap them individually in enough foil so that no green is showing. Make sure to seal off both ends as you are doing this. After all of your corn is foil wrapped cook them on medium high for 20min turning them about every 5min. Serve with butter and salt!

Tip: For a flavor of Mexico after the corn has soaked dry it a bit with a paper towel, sprinkle chili powder on them, and then wrap and cook.
